INDUSTRY-WIDE DIGITAL VIDEO ASSOCIATION EXPANDS LEADERSHIP TEAM

NEW YORK, NY - The Global Online Video Association (GOVA), an industry-funded non-profit corporation established by the leading multi-channel networks and media companies, announced an addition to its executive team with the appointment of Chris Dorr, as the new Executive Director. Paul Kontonis, former Executive Director of GOVA, has become the new President of the organization.

GOVA has continued to expand its influence in the industry ranging from events, research, promotions and most recently its highly acclaimed closed-door symposium conversations which launched internationally at MipTV in Cannes, France in April 2015 and in the US at Stream Market in Santa Monica, California. In its founding year, GOVA release a brand white paper in a partnership with Tubular Labs and VideoInk, held numerous premiere advertiser events at notable industry events, released the GOVA mobile app and provided substantial NewFronts promotional support for its members. Most recently GOVA has expanded its high profile membership with participation from Bell Media (CA) and Whistle Sports (USA) and is expected to announce major European and Asian media company members.
