The IAB has extended the 2015 Digital Content Newfronts calendar as more companies want to present during this year’s showcase — and one does not. New presenters include YouTube networks like Collective Digital Studio, and Whistle Sports.
This will be the fourth annual Digital Content Newfronts, and the third to be overseen by the IAB. The Newfronts were originally set up in 2012 as an industry-wide event for major online video producers, networks, and publishers to present their video content and solutions to advertisers in the “upfront” manner long used by the TV industry. It also doubled as an opportunity for important sayers and doers in digital video talk about the progress the industry was making as it sought to attract TV-sized ad spend.
